Hi! I’m Laurie and I’m a bookworm.
I learned to read when I was four and I haven’t had a book out of my hands ever since.
I spent many years in publishing — writing and editing romance novels, financial and legal texts, technical manuals, and pretty much everything in between. I liked what I was doing, but I lost my love of reading… for reading. And I missed that.
It took a taken-on-a -whim web design class that made me realize that was what I should be doing with my life. I launched Code Diva, which specializes in WordPress development and coaching, and I built a lot of websites.
I started reading for fun again. I read so many books.
But I have opinions. I have a lot of opinions. And I need someone to talk about those books with.
